ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University Women's Soccer Team will be on the road this week, Their first stop will be in Jacksonville, IL to take on Illinois College October 2nd. Later this week the Griffins will take on the Eagles at Spalding University on October 5th for a conference game. Fontbonne University Women's Soccer is coming off a three game winning streak and will be looking to get another win.

 

Fontbonne (2-4-2)  Illinois College (5-5)

When: October 2nd 2019

Where:  Jacksonville, IL

Time: 7:00 p.m.

 

Fontbonne (2-4-2) Spalding (3-5)

When: October 5th  2019

Where: Louisville, Kentucky 

Time: 2:00 p.m.

 

A Look At The Griffins

  • Last weekend Fontbonne University Women's had two away games against Oakland City (4-0) and St. Mary-Woods (4-2)
  • Senior Makayla Hussong has 41 combined saves so far for the 2019 season 
  • The team has a combined 21 goals on the season.
  • Sophomore Caroline Neal leads the team in goals with six, along with one assist.
  • Junior Kierstyn Weaver Is right behind with three goals on the season with four assist.

 

 

A Look At Illinois College

  • Illinois College are 5-5 on their season.
  • Team has 19 goals on the season.
  • Freshman Annie Burns has four goals and one assist. 
  • Junior Katie Elmore has three goals and two assist.
  • Senior GK Charlotte Crofton has 21 saves and has allowed five goals.
