A Look At Fontbonne
- The Griffins were picked seventh in the SLIAC Preseason Poll.
- The team returns seven players led by Rae Andrews who looks to build off her 220 kills and 268 digs from a season ago.
- Abby Grumich is back at the setter position where in 2019 she posted a career-best 418 assists. Jessica Molden stepped in and searches for a new career-high after totaling 150 assists as a freshman.
- Kelly Herr, Savannah Silva, Claire Sease, and Olivia Tallo all look to play a role in helping the Griffins climb up the SLIAC standings.
- The Griffins also welcome seven newcomers in Emma Pramik, Lizzy Harvey, Jadyn Fitzgerald, Ella Werner, Campbell Brown, Jackie Drury, and Hannah Gallagher.
A Look At Blackburn
- Blackburn comes in fifth in the 2021 SLIAC Preseason Poll.
- The team ended 2019 9-17 overall and 8-10 in conference play.
- The Beavers return most of its starters led by Lucy Magnussen who finished with a team-high 254 kills and a .231 hitting percentage in 2019.
- Kaitlyn Wiegand (209), Elizabeth Bowyer (203), and Kasey Bean (200) each totaled at least 200 kills and are back in 2021.
- On the defensive side of the net, the Beavers averaged 16.42 digs per set.
- Amanda Swedberg looks to build off her 442 digs in 2019.
