Women's Volleyball Releases Its 2018 Schedule

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's volleyball team released its 2018 schedule as they'll look to get back into the SLIAC Tournament this upcoming year.

The Griffins, who are coming off an 11-win season last year, return a majority of its roster and will be guided by first-year head coach, Ryan LeGrand.

The team gets its 2018 campaign underway on the road in a non-conference outing against St. Louis College of Pharmacy on September 5^th.

After a trip up north for the Iowa Wesleyan Tri-Match on September 8^th, the Griffins have its home opener against Westminster at 7 p.m., on the 12^th.

From there, the Griffins will play three games in a span of two-days (Sept 14-15) against Bluffton, Spalding and Greenville.

Fontbonne hosts its final two home games of the month against Principia and Illinois College on the 18^th and 20^th. Thereafter, they head on the road for three conference matches against MacMurray, Eureka, and Blackburn.

They'll begin the month of October on the road against rival Webster on October 3^rd. After two more home games against MacMurray (Oct. 8^th) and Eureka (Oct 10^th), the Griffins head out to Kansas City that Friday for two non-conference outings against Bethany and Avila.

The Griffins will square off once more against Westminster on October 16^th, however, they'll finish out the month with four home dates, including hosting the Fontbonne Tri-Match on October 20^th against Webster and Blackburn.
