Loehr Earns Singles Win Against Westminster

FULTON, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's tennis team fell 8-1 on the road against Westminster on Sunday.

How It Happened

In doubles play, the Blue Jays were able to win all three matches, including squeaking past the No. 2 duo in Jordan Sampson and Emily Bay as they put forth a valiant effort before falling, 8-7.

In singles play, some scores were switched to eight due to the rain. At No. 1, Chloe Loehr won 8-7 as she won the tiebreaker over Natalie Tiffany, 7-1. However, the Blue Jays were able to win the rest of the matches and go on for the 8-1 victory.
