Women's Tennis Drops First Conference Outing Against Webster

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontobnne University women's tennis team competed well on Wednesday in its first conference match, but the Griffins fell 9-0 against Webster.

How It Happened

In doubles action, the Gorloks swept past Fontbonne to give them the early 3-0 lead. In singles play, both Chloe Loehr and Jordan Sampson put up valiant efforts, though dropped both contests.

At No. 3 singles, Andrea Wiele took three games from Maggie Federhofer, while Riane Tyus took four from Navone Armstrong. Despite the efforts, however, the Griffins fell 9-0 against Webster.
