Griffins suffer 8-1 defeat by Marian

St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne University women's tennis fell at the hands of Marian University 8-1 Tuesday night.
Freshman Morgan Smith won at No. 2-singles for the second time in as many matches.
Senior Bailey Benes made her first showing of the spring season and took her opponent to a third-set tie breaker where she fell 7-4. Also making it to an extra set was Lauren Calicutt suffering a 10-4 defeat.
The Griffins are set to take on Midland University Thursday, March 15th at 6 p.m. at Shaw Park.
