ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Fontbonne University women's soccer team shutout Mississippi University for Women this afternoon, 2-0. The Griffins improve to 6-7-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play.
Caitlyn Smith opened scoring for the Griffins at 14:11.
One minute later, Smith found Emma Anselm's foot to extend the Griffins' lead to 2-0 and take the win.
Holly Pearce played 90 minutes in between posts.
The Griffins outshot MUW, 12-5.
