ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University Women's Soccer Team will start off their week on the road at Greeenville Wednesday October 9th. The Griffins will be back at home after a long series on the the road Saturday October 12th to take on Iowa Wesleyan. Fontbonne will be looking to get their first conference win of the season.

A Look At The Griffins

  • Last weekend Fontbonne University Women's had two away games against Illinois College (2-0) and Spalding (1-2)
  • Senior Makayla Hussong has 44 combined saves so far for the 2019 season 
  • The team has a combined 24 goals on the season.
  • Sophomore Caroline Neal leads the team in goals with seven, along with one assist.
  • Junior Kierstyn Weaver Is right behind with four goals on the season with five assist.
  • Junior Molly Kovarik also has four goals on the season with one assist.



A Look At The Greenville Panthers

  • Greenville is 4-5-1 on their season.
  • The Panthers are coming off a two game winning streak.
  • Freshman Jen De Leon De Leon has three goals on the season along with one assist.
  • Junior Megan Taylor Leads the team in assists with two along with her single goal.
  • The Panther's GK Senior Marjory Coats has 51 saves on the season and three wins.

  • Iowa Wesleyan is 0-5 on their season
  • Senior Emmy Robriguez and Junior Ivet Rogriguez each have scored goals for the team this season
