Women's Soccer Looks For Its Third Straight Win Against Principia

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's soccer team looks for its third straight win against Principia on Tuesday night. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m., from Centene Stadium.

A Look At The Griffins

  • Fontbonne (4-5-1; 1-0 SLIAC), recorded its second straight shutout and third in its last four with a 9-0 win against Eureka on Saturday.
  • The team posted a season-high nine goals against the Red Devils.
  • Molly Kovarik led with her second hat-trick on the season. She's now up to 11 goals on the season which is tops in the SLIAC.
  • Caroline Neal, Rebecca Bass, and Emily Cardwell also netted three goals on the year.

  • The Panthers (1-6; 1-0 SLIAC), earned its first win on the year with a 4-0 victory against Blackburn. Sarai Marcano led with two goals on three shots.
  • On the season, the Panthers have scored eight goals and are paced by Marcano's four and one assist for nine points.
  • Brittany Ouellette is second with two goals and two assists for six points.
  • In net, Hannah Hathaway is 1-3 with a 2.80 goals against average and made 53 saves.
