Redohl earns first SLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors
St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne sophomore Maddie Redohl has earned the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's first Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Redohl (Fenton, Mo./Rosati-Kain) played all 190+ minutes this weekend in the swelting heat in Memphis, Tenn. as the Griffins won both games at the neutral site. Redohl played at centerback, securing Fontbonne's first goal of 2015 while chasing down and being the last possible elimination attempt multiple times for Fontbonne.
Fontbonne went 2-1 on the week. Redohl is a Psychology major who earned defensive player of the week honors last year as well.
