Memphis, Tenn. - Fontbonne junior Ashlynn Reiter came through for the second time in two days as she netted the Griffins' game-winner over the University of the Ozarks in the 49th minute. Reiter secured the goal from the top of the box, allowing the Griffins to go home 2-0 on the weekend.
Half of Fontbonne's shots were on target while goalkeeper Tayler Pulvirenti saved all five of Ozarks shots on goal, earning her first shutout of the year.
Fontbonne is now 2-1 on the year and will host their home-opener this Wednesday, Sept. 9. The Griffins will take on Illinois College at 6pm.
