The Fontbonne University women's soccer team defeated Eureka College on Saturday 10-0 to improved to 13-2-1 overall and 5-0 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The 13 victories for the Griffins is now second all-time in program history. Fontbonne has now won five games in a row.
On Saturday, sophomore Taylor McGowen recorded two goals while sophmore Kelly Hobbs had a goal and two assists. Junior Paige Pfankuch tallied two assists while senior Allison Weber recorded her first goal of the season. Senior Meggin Werner earned her second shutout for the season in goal for the Griffins.
Fontbonne will return to action on Wednesday night as they host Greenville College at 6 pm.
