Hear from Head Coach Amond Prater
"First off I would once again like to thank my administration and the entire athletic department for helping us compete safely and host our first dual meet. As we embarked upon this competition season, colleges across the country are dealing with the lingering impact of the pandemic on both practices and competitions. Westminster has produced some top talent since they started their program and we knew what we would have some tough matchups coming into this dual."
He added, "For us, it's a testament of guys trusting in the process to continue to show up to practice, get tested three times a week and do what's necessary in the classroom that I am most proud of. I'm also appreciative of their willingness to grow and develop in many aspects not just wrestling, but I'm also thank for mat time. It's the only way to evolve in this sport. Although we didn't have fans in the stands today, this win will always hold a special place in Fontbonne wrestling history." #BuildSomethingWorthProtecting
