Men's Wrestling Drops Dual Outing Against Westminster

FULTON, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's wrestling team returned to the mat tonight against Westminster but fell 31-18 against the Blue Jays.

How It Happened

After the Blue Jays grabbed the early 6-0 lead, the Griffins evened it up with Cody Castelline picking up the fall win in just 15.0 seconds at 133-pounds.

From there, however, the Blue Jays went on to win the next five matches to take the 31-6 lead. Fontbonne, though kept battling with Andrew Warren earning a fall win at 1:38 over Will Harper at 184-pounds.

The Griffins collected one final win at 285-pounds with Joey Johnson picking up a fall win at 2:19 over Cole Stromsdorfer to make it a 31-18 final.
