Women's Golf Sits In Sixth Place After Round One At Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—The Fontbonne University women's golf team hit the course for the first time this year at the Rhodes Classic and currently sit in sixth place with a 403.

How It Happened

WashU is the overall leader after round one play as they scored a 7-under par 281. Host Rhodes College stands in second place at 2-over par 290, while Maryville College (Tenn.) hit a 56-over par 344 for third.

Individually, Samantha Haubenstock (WashU), leads the field by two-strokes after hitting a 6-under par 66. Fontbonne, meanwhile, are currently being led by Grace Harlin after she scored a 19-over par 91.

Maddi Vandervort is four-strokes behind her at 32-over par 104, while Sarah Saddoris hit a 35-over par 107. Catherine Fowler turned in her scorecard at 38-over par 110.
