ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's basketball team returns home on Wednesday night as they'll look for the regular season series sweep over Blackburn. Tip-off at 5:30 p.m.

A Look At The Griffins

·         Fontbonne dropped its second consecutive game on Saturday after falling to Greenville, 73-49.

·         Raven Venegas led with 12 points, while Rylee Stafford and Riley Guffey had 11 and 10 points, respectively.

·         On the season, the Griffins are posting 69.6 points per game and shooting 40.0 percent from the floor.

·         Stafford has reached double-figures in points the last 17 games. She's leading the Griffins with a team-high 14.7 points per game.

·         In her last five games, Raven Venegas is averaging 17.0 points per game and shooting 62.5 percent from the field. On the year, she's averaging 12.4 points and owns a 55.9 field goal percentage.


A Look At The Blackburn Beavers

·         The Beavers dropped its fifth straight game on Saturday after falling 67-58 against Iowa Wesleyan.

·         In the loss, the Beavers shot 31.9 percent from the field and were led by Maria Cline's double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

·         Blackburn is scoring 60.4 points per game and shooting 35.8 percent from the floor.

·         Jenna Dudra and Savannah Kruse are tied with 12.5 points per game.
