Freshman Gabi Cruts breaks 100m dash record

Monmouth, Ill. - Freshman Gabi Cruts posted a 12.85 100m dash at the Monmouth College Fighting Scots Outdoor Invitational, besting her previous mark of 12.99, for the new school record. Cruts began her college outdoor 100m dash with a 13.32 time.

Also competing well at the invite was sophomore Becca Buehler who won the 400m hurdles event. Buehler recorded a 66.76 finish, just 0.68 seconds slower than her current school record. 

Some Griffins will finish the season at the North Central Dr. Keller Invitational May 7th.
