Fontbonne runners post solid SLIAC times
Several Fontbonne University men track and field members recently completed another successful season posting some of the conference's best times.
Fontbonne junior Ian Lindquist posted the third best conference time in a 5000 meter race last year. Lindquist ran a 16:29.40 at the Rose-Hulman Twilight race on April 20th. Senior Zach Kassman came in just second behind Lindquist posting the fifth best SLIAC time in a 5000 meter race with a time of 16:37.15. Kassman posted that time in the Washington University Invitational.
Kassman also posted the second-best SLIAC time in the 3,000 meter Steeple race with a time of 9:39.81. Kassman ran that time North Central College Keeler Track and Field Invitational on May 10th.
Lindquist posted the SLIAC's 12-best time in the 1,500 meter race posting a time of 4:22.59 at the St. Louis University Invitational. Fontbonne sophomore Shea Naes posted the conference's 12-best time in the 800 meter race with a time of 2:04.22.
