• Fontbonne is off to a 2-2 start with both victories coming over Defiance in Memphis.
• On the year, the Griffins are batting .303 thus far, totaling 37 hits, three homers, and 23 RBI.
• Grace Harlin is off to a fast start batting a team-high .615 (8-for-13), with seven runs scored and two doubles.
• Lilly Jones is batting .438, while Gracie Morris and Lauren Proehl each own a .333 clip.
• Hannah Miener, the reigning SLIAC Softball Hitter of the Week, belted two homers and came away with a team-high eight RBI this past weekend. She's batting .313 on the year.
• The pitching staff, meanwhile, owns a 6.22 ERA in 27.0 innings of work. Abby Richmond leads with a 3.36 ERA in 8.1 innings of work.

A Look At The Carroll Pioneers

• The Pioneers are coming off a 22-17 overall record in 2019.
• They batted .303 as a team last season and bring back its top hitter in Sierra Grubor. The Milwaukee, Wis., native, batted .440 in 2019, totaling 51 hits, 22 runs scored, and 12 RBI.
• Kaylee Learman also returns after batting .366, owning a 1.190 OPS and hit a team-high five homers.
• Inside the circle, the staff held a 2.84 ERA in 2019. Amanda Osterhus is back after going 12-8 with a 1.67 ERA and struck out a team-high 162 batters.
