ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The Fontbonne University softball team looks to expand on its three-game winning streak tomorrow afternoon against Monmouth. First-pitch at 1 p.m.

A Look At The Griffins

  • The Griffins extended its winning streak out to three on Wednesday after sweeping past Blackburn 9-4 in game one and 9-3 (5 inn.) in game two.
  • On the year, the Griffins are batting .253 and they're led by Maddy Strickland's .414 clip.
  • Diamond Thomas is on a nine-game hitting streak as she's now batting .390 and leads the Griffins with 16 hits.
  • Lexi Becker owns a .324 average, while Emelia Modglin is batting .275 and has a team-high three doubles.
  • On the rubber, the staff has compiled a 4.73 ERA and 35 strikeouts.
  • Thomas leads overall with a 2-4 record and a 3.73 ERA. She also has sat down a team-high 19 batters.
  • Becker, meanwhile, is 1-2 with a 4.77 ERA.


A Look At The Monmouth Scots

  • After dropping its first nine games, the Scots have won two out of its last three with its most recent win being a 1-0 victory over Roger Williams.
  • Overall, the Scots are batting .276 thus far and they're led by Jessica Pualey's .370 average.
  • Kaelan Bradley is hitting .333, while leading the team in hits (14), home runs (one), runs scored (six) and RBI (seven).
  • Laura Dulee (.333) and Cassidy Abbott (.313) are both hitting over .300.
  • Inside the circle, the staff has a 4.95 ERA and totaled 30 strikeouts.
  • Starter Jenna Pauley is 1-1 with a 1.77 Era and struck out five batters. Hailey Rennick leads them with 10 strikeouts.
