A Look At The Griffins

  • The Griffins earned a split in its last time out after falling 1-0 (10 inn.) in game one against Hanover, but responding with an 11-5 win in game two.
  • On the rubber, Diamond Thomas picked up her first win on the year after allowing five runs (four earned) in her complete game outing.
  • At the dish, Abby Richmond went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a season-high three RBI.
  • Emelia Modglin and Lexi Becker had two RBI each, while Thomas extended her hitting streak out to seven.
  • On the season, the Griffins are batting .216 as a team.
  • Thomas leads them overall with a .382 clip, to go along with her 13 hits, one double, two triples, and five stolen bases.
  • Maddy Strickland owns a .286 average, while Lexi Becker is hitting .269 and leads them in the RBI department with four.
  • Inside the circle, the staff has compiled a 4.85 ERA. Thomas is 1-4 with a 3.66 ERA, while Becker has a 4.94 ERA of her own.

 

A Look At The Blackburn Beavers
