MILWAUKEE, Wis.—The (RV) Fontbonne University men's volleyball team made quick work of Wisconsin Lutheran in its season opener winning in straight sets.

Set Notes
Set 1: After leading 7-4 in the first, the Griffins went on a 5-0 run with Braden Woolsey's kill giving Fontbonne a 12-5 advantage. With the Griffins posting a match-high .571 hitting percentage and 14 kills they cruised to the 25-11 win. Woolsey dominated in the first set having six kills on six swings.
Set 2: The Griffins dominated in the second start-to-finish having 11 kills and a .500 hitting percentage in the 25-5 victory. Fontbonne held the Warriors to zero kills and a negative -.375 hitting percentage. Lee Kreutzman and Braden Woolsey finished with three kills each
Set 3: It was more of the same story in the third with Fontbonne having a 15-6 lead on Logan Irby's service ace. The Griffins totaled 11 kills and a .333 hitting percentage, while holding the Warriors to another negative -.200 hitting percentage en route to the 25-14 win.
Irby led in the set with four kills on four swings. Parker Maue added three kills and a .333 hitting percentage.
