Culton Earns No. 1 Doubles And Singles Wins Against Oakland City

OAKLAND CITY, Ind.—The Fontbonne University men's tennis team put forth another valiant effort on Sunday night, but the Oakland City Mighty Oaks came away with the 7-2 win.

How It Happened

In doubles action, the team of Sebastian Culton and Anh Nguyen earned an 8-4 victory at the No. 1 slot. However, the Mighty Oaks won 8-1 at No. 2 over the duo of Zach Stevens and Jaxon Ziemann.

In singles play, Culton stayed on a roll with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Jacob Hughen. The Mighty Oaks, though went on to win the rest of the singles matches for the victory.
