Menzel named SLIAC Offensive Player of the Week

St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne University senior Tim Menzel (Webster Groves, Mo./Webster Groves) has been named as the SLIAC men's soccer offensive player of the week.

Menzel scored one goal in the Griffins' 2-1 victory over Principia last Tuesday and tallied two goals and two assists in Fontbonne's 13-0 shutout over Eureka College on Saturday. Menzel put the Griffins on the board first in both games and ended with eight points on the week. 

Menzel leads the SLIAC in scoring with 21 points on the season.

Fontbonne men's soccer leads the conference with a 5-0 record and hosts Greenville College Wednesday, October 22nd for an 8pm matchup.
