Aurora, Ill. - Fontbonne men's lacrosse dropped their second conference contest, this time at Aurora University. The Griffins fall to 1-4 on the season.
Aurora scored 11 straight goals before Brian Nguyen set up Dalton Teague for Fontbonne's lone goal of the game. The goal came in the second period.
Aurora outshot the Griffins 85-9 and picked up 59 ground balls compared to Fontbonne's 11. The Griffins continue to struggle with clears, being successful only nine out of 19 times. Jack Carroll saved a career-high 24 in cage for the Griffins.
Fontbonne will have their season-opener on Friday, March 10th at 7 p.m. when they host Cornell College.
