Fontbonne Men's Golf Finishes In Fourth At SLIAC Championships
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The final round of the SLIAC Men’s Golf Championship wrapped up today and the Griffins finished in fourth at 79-over par 943 (312-309-322).
LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The final round of the SLIAC Men's Golf Championship wrapped up today and the Griffins finished in fourth at 79-over par 943 (312-309-322).
Webster won for the fifth straight season scoring a 42-over par 906 (305-302-299). Lake Forest College shot a 74-over par 938 (311-312-315) to edge out Illinois College who ended with a 75-over par 939 (312-304-323).
Will Hocker took home the individual title scoring a 5-under par 211 (72-69-70). Carson King earned a top-10 finish and a spot on the All-Conference Second Team ending in 10th at 17-over par 233 (80-72-81).
Cody McKinney moved up three spots finishing in 12th at 18-over par 234 (80-77-77). McKinney finished the final round strong totaling five birdies overall, including three on the front nine.
Lake Deppe was the third Griffin to finish inside the top-15 ending in a tie for 14th at 20-over par 236 (75-79-82). Paul Henderson closed out the two-day championship in a tie for 29th at 29-over par 245 (77-86-82).
Cole Deppe turned in his scorecard at 36-over par 252 (84-81-87) for 38th place.
