Men's Golf Finishes Out Day One At The Rhodes Spring Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—The Fontbonne University men's golf team finished out day one of the Rhodes Spring Classic and the Griffins stand in 13^th place scoring an 82-over par 658 (334-324).

Day One Results

Webster University holds first-place with a 7-over par 583 (294-289). LeTourneau University hit a 24-over par 600 (306-294) for second, while host Rhodes College is in third at 25-over par 601 (304-297).

Individually, Emilo Montavlo (Dallas) is one of four players under-par hitting a 4-under 140 (74-66) through two rounds of play.

Cody McKinney leads Fontbonne hitting a 16-over par 160 (82-78) for 43^rd place. Lake Deppe is right behind him at 19-over par 163 (84-79) for 51^st, while Carson King scored a 23-over par 167 (88-79) for 59^th.

Ryan McKinney turned in his scorecard at 27-over par 171 (81-90) for 63^rd and Cole Deppe totaled a 31-over par 175 (87-88) for 64^th. Paul Weiskopf, playing as an individual, hit a 34-over par 178 (84-94) for 66^th.

The team will close out the final round tomorrow in Memphis.
