FULTON, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's golf team hit the course for the first time this season at the William Woods University Spring Invite and currently sits in seventh place at 47-over par 263.
Host William Woods sits in first place with a two-stroke lead after hitting an 8-over par 296. Bellevue University – Nebraska shot a 10-over par 298 for second, while Columbia College rounds out the top three at 19-over par.
Philipp Heller (William Woods) leads the field individually scoring an even-par 72. Ryan McKinney, playing as an individual, hit an 11-over par 83 to sit in 43rd place to lead Fontbonne.
Lake Deppe scored a 13-over par 85 to finish in 44th, while Carson King is a stroke behind him at 14-over par 86 for 48th. Cole Deppe hit his way to a 20-over par 92 for 58th and Michael Maloney rounded out his day at 21-over par 93 for 60th.
The final round of the William Woods Spring Invite will conclude tomorrow starting at 10 a.m.
