Harrison Earns Top-10 Finish At The Battle At Belterra

FLORENCE, Ind.—The Fontbonne University men's golf team closed out the Battle at Belterra in sixth place with a 71-over par 639 (315-324), while the "B" team shot a 687 (348-339).

How It Happened

Franklin College took home the victory after fending off Hanover as they scored a 39-over par 607 (309-298). Hanover hit a 43-over par 611 (302-309), while Franklin's "B" team totaled a 45-over par 613 (307-306).

Individually, Jackson Williams (Franklin College), won the Battle at Belterra with a 3-over par 145 (74-71).

Fontbonne, meanwhile, was led by Cory Harrison's round two performance. Harrison, who represented the "B" team, improved his round one score by seven-strokes to conclude with an 11-over par 153 (80-73) for a ninth-place tie. He totaled two birdies and just five bogeys on the afternoon.

Sam Kaminski was the next Griffin on the board after turning in his scorecard with a 14-over par 156 (71-85) for 14th place. Paul Henderson jumped up 10 spots after totaling a 15-over par 157 (81-76). He also played a rather clean round with two birdies and seven bogeys.

Carson King totaled a 20-over par 162 (78-84) for 26th place, while Will Pruden ended the two-day event in a tie for 29th at 25-over par 167 (85-82).

Matt Rapisardo scored an 11-over par 82 on the day to conclude the weekend at 28-over par (88-82) for 31st. Paul Weiskopf shot his way to a 31-over par 173 (89-84) for 32nd, while Satchel Conroy shot a 37-over par 179 (89-90).

Mike Maloney ended at 40-over par 182 (90-92) and Pete Wiss totaled a 49-over par 191 (99-92).
