Henderson Leads The Griffins After Round One At The Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate

PARKVILLE, Mo.— At the conclusion of the first round at the Virginia McCoy Intercollegiate, the Fontbonne University men's golf team stands in ninth with a 78-over par 358.

Host Park University stands in first with a 23-over par 303. Southeast CC shot a 25-over par 305 for second, while Columbia College holds down the third slot at 26-over par 306.

Individually, Noah Hofman was the lone player under-par as he scored a 2-under par 68 and currently holds a two-stroke lead.

Paul Henderson, meanwhile, leads the Griffins after scoring a 10-over par 80 for a 25^th place tie. Henderson finished out the final nine holes with two birdies on the 16^th and 17^th holes.

Satchel Conroy concluded the afternoon with a 20-over par 90 for 47^th place, while Zach Tullock and Paul Weiskopf are both tied for 50^th at 24-over par 94. Pete Weiss rounded out the scoring for the Griffins as he turned in his scorecard with a 26-over par 96.
