ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's basketball team looks for its third straight conference win on Saturday afternoon when they'll pay a visit to Principia. Tip-off at 3 p.m.

A Look At The Griffins

  • After trailing by 14 at halftime, the Griffins earned a come-from-behind win against MacMurray on Wednesday night, 82-76.
  • The team shot 41.7 percent from the floor and were led by Luke DeLine's 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting, 19 of which came in the second half alone.
  • Caden Clark netted a career-high 15 points, while Carter Otwell contributed 11.
  • On the year, the team is scoring 79.7 points on a 47.6 field goal percentage.
  • DeLine ranks 37th in NCAA Division III with a team-high 21.4 points per game. He's also shooting 55.4 percent from the field and 45.0 percent from downtown.
  • Jared Woodcock puts up 12.9 points per game, while Gus Kleekamp scores 8.8 per contest and hits 50.4 percent of his shots.

 

A Look At The Principia Panthers

  • The Panthers will hit the court for the first time on Saturday after dropping a 139-113 outing against Greenville.
  • Principia shot 59.2 percent from the field and were led by Micah Paulson's game-high 44 points on 14-of-22 shooting.
  • Trevaughn Goodman earned a triple-double with 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Clark Davidson and Nathan Brantingham finished with 18 and 15 points, respectively.
  • On the season, they're scoring 74.2 points per game.
  • Paulson upped his season average to 26.5 points, while Goodman is right behind him with a 20.4 point per game average.
  • Davidson leads them from the floor at a 57.8 field goal percentage, to go along with his 12.5 point per game average.
