Bio
Marissa (Simon) Berger joins the Fontbonne Hall of Fame after leading the Fontbonne softball team to three straight SLIAC Tournament Champion as well as three SLIAC Regular Season Champion (2011-2014).
During her stellar three-year career, she helped the team go undefeated in SLIAC play for the first-time in school history. The team was ranked third in NCAA Regional Rankings
As a three-time SLIAC First Team, she also earned 2013 SLIAC Player of the Year, 2011 SLIAC Newcomer of the Year as well as NFCA All-Region selection and NFCA All-American honors.
She appeared in 96 games, scored 98 runs, totaled 125 hits, 31 hits, 11 homeruns, 84 RBIs, a .383 batting average, and a .604 slugging percentage.
She still holds the school record for most at-bats, she sits second for most runs as well ranks in the top five of eight categories.
