How it happened:
After being down three early, the Griffins fought back before dropping a hard fought game in extra innings. The Griffins got two runs in the fourth when senior Lance Chapman's line drive to left was misplayed allowing Juniors Lane Smith and Braeden Dobbs to score. The Griffins then took the lead in the seventh when Senior Gus Purschke hit a two-run home run.
Fontbonne Notables
- Purschke went four for five with a double, Home Run, two RBI , and a stolen base.
- Dobbs went two for five
- Chapman had two RBI
